Fadnavis Highlights Coal Project Boost, Clarifies Stand on Maratha Cases and Targets Rahul Gandhi !!!!

Date:

NAGPUR, MAHARASHTRA — Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis addressed a range of critical issues in Nagpur, spanning energy security, law and order, and political developments, presenting the government’s stance on key matters affecting the state.

Speaking on energy initiatives, Fadnavis described the allocation of captive coal mines to state power companies by Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a historic decision. He highlighted that under this policy, the Maharashtra State Power Generation Company received the Gare-Palma coal mine in Chhattisgarh, marking a significant step toward strengthening the state’s power infrastructure. He noted that after overcoming regulatory hurdles and securing environmental clearances, coal production has now commenced, with the first railway rake successfully reaching the Koradi Thermal Power Station, calling it a moment of great satisfaction for the state.

Fadnavis emphasized that the project will reduce Maharashtra’s dependence on external coal supplies while improving the overall efficiency of power generation. He pointed out that the high-quality coal, with a Gross Calorific Value of 4300, will not only enhance fuel efficiency but also help in reducing operational costs and minimizing environmental impact, making it a crucial development for the energy sector.

Addressing the issue of Maratha reservation protests, the Chief Minister clarified that no discussions have taken place regarding the withdrawal of related cases. He reiterated that the government’s position remains firm that cases involving damage to public property during protests cannot be withdrawn, in accordance with Supreme Court directives. He added that detailed data on the matter had already been presented during the previous legislative session, reinforcing the administration’s consistent stance.

On the alleged religious conversion case involving a Nashik-based IT company, Fadnavis stated that a thorough investigation is currently underway. He assured that strict action will be taken against those found guilty, underlining the government’s commitment to maintaining law and order and ensuring accountability.

Turning to national politics, Fadnavis launched a sharp critique of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. He alleged that Gandhi’s political actions are driven by personal survival rather than broader public interest. According to Fadnavis, there is growing internal dissatisfaction within the Congress party, with sentiments emerging that Rahul Gandhi’s leadership is unable to deliver electoral success.

He further claimed that Gandhi’s statements are aimed at diverting attention from internal challenges within the party. Fadnavis suggested that such remarks are part of a strategy to maintain control amid ongoing political setbacks, highlighting the intensifying political rivalry at the national level.

The Chief Minister’s remarks reflect a combination of governance-focused updates and sharp political messaging, underscoring the state government’s priorities while also engaging in the broader national political discourse.
