Nana Patole Alleges Bias in Election Commission, Targets BJP Over Electoral Process…

Nagpur, Maharashtra, India

Amid escalating political tensions, Congress leader Nana Patole made sharp remarks against the Election Commission and the Bharatiya Janata Party, alleging bias in the electoral process and questioning recent developments in Parliament.

Speaking in Nagpur, Nana Patole criticised the functioning of the Election Commission of India, alleging that it is working in favour of the BJP. He raised concerns over what he described as a lack of independence in the functioning of the constitutional body.

He alleged that the Election Commission is acting like a “peon” for the BJP, making a strong accusation about its neutrality.

Referring to parliamentary proceedings, Patole questioned why a proposal related to the Election Commission, introduced in the Rajya Sabha, was rejected. He suggested that such decisions raise concerns about transparency and fairness in the system.

He further alleged that the BJP’s electoral success is not solely based on public support but is influenced by the role of the Election Commission. According to him, electoral outcomes are being impacted by institutional bias rather than reflecting the true will of the people.

He claimed that the BJP is winning elections “because of the Election Commission, not because of the people,” indicating his party’s dissatisfaction with the current electoral process.

Nana Patole also targeted Narendra Modi, stating that there is growing public anger against the Prime Minister. He criticised what he described as rhetoric in political speeches and suggested that it is not resonating positively with the public.

He said that people are increasingly dissatisfied and expressed anger over the Prime Minister’s statements, reflecting the Congress party’s stance ahead of elections.

The remarks come at a time when political discourse across the country has intensified, with parties making strong allegations and counter allegations regarding governance, elections, and institutional functioning.

It is important to note that these statements are political allegations made by a party leader, and there has been no official response from the Election Commission or the BJP regarding these claims at this stage.

With elections approaching, such statements are likely to further intensify the political debate, as parties continue to challenge each other on issues of governance, transparency, and public trust.
