SANJAY RAUT TARGETS BJP WITH ‘UDTA BJP’ REMARK OVER RISING DRUG CONCERNS IN MAHARASHTRA…

Mumbai, Maharashtra

A sharp political attack has emerged from Maharashtra’s political landscape as Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut launched a scathing criticism of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party over the issue of alleged rising drug-related activities in the state. His remarks have added a new dimension to the ongoing political discourse, bringing law and order into the spotlight.

Addressing the media in Mumbai, Raut used a striking phrase to describe the situation, stating that “in Maharashtra, the BJP has become like ‘Udta BJP’,” drawing a parallel to a state overwhelmed by drug-related issues. His statement was aimed at questioning the effectiveness of governance and raising concerns about the spread of narcotics across key urban centers.

He further elaborated that major cities including Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Nagpur, and Satara are witnessing frequent drug seizures, suggesting that the scale of the problem has intensified significantly. According to him, the repeated recovery of narcotics from different parts of the state indicates a deeper systemic issue that requires urgent attention.

“There are drugs everywhere,” Raut asserted, intensifying his criticism and portraying the situation as alarming and widespread. His remarks were clearly positioned as an attack on the ruling administration, accusing it of failing to control the growing menace.

The comments come at a time when political tensions in Maharashtra are already running high, with leaders from various parties engaging in aggressive rhetoric ahead of upcoming political developments. By invoking the phrase ‘Udta BJP Maharashtra,’ Raut sought to frame the issue as not just a law enforcement challenge but a reflection of governance shortcomings.

The Bharatiya Janata Party, often at the center of political debates in the state, is now facing increased scrutiny from opposition leaders who are raising concerns on multiple fronts, including public safety and administrative accountability.

Raut’s remarks have sparked a fresh political debate, with the issue of drug control and law enforcement expected to become a key talking point in the coming days. The strong wording used by the Shiv Sena (UBT) leader signals an intensification of political attacks, as opposition voices continue to challenge the ruling establishment on governance issues.

As the narrative unfolds, the spotlight remains firmly on Maharashtra’s urban centers and the broader question of how effectively the state is addressing the growing concerns surrounding drug-related activities.
